Presidential Diversity Postdoctoral Fellowship That May Lead to Tenure Track

Budget Title: Postdoctoral Associate (SL-1)

Compensation and Allowances: Fellows are appointed with the title of Postdoctoral Associate and will receive a $50,000 annual stipend with a benefits package. There will be a research allowance, of up to $13,000 per year, that may also be used in support of conference travel to disseminate research findings.

Postdoctoral Resident Openings

Applications are being accepted for a clinical postdoctoral residency position in integrated behavioral health care through Community Health Center, Inc., with sites located across the state of Connecticut. Applicants must have completed an APA/CPA accredited doctoral program. We do not require that applicants completed an APA/CPA accredited pre-doctoral internship, although the internship experience should meet APPIC standards. Applications are due January 14th, 2019.

Postdoctoral Research Associate in Biomechanics, Bioengineering, or Muscle Biology

A postdoctoral position is available to study elastic mechanisms in muscle function in the laboratory of Thomas Roberts. The project uses animal models, isolated muscle measurements, and modeling to study how elastic structures influence muscle function. Candidates with a background in biomechanics, bioengineering, or muscle biology are encouraged to apply. Desirable experience includes isolated muscle mechanical measurements, materials testing, and/or in silico or physical modeling of mechanical phenomena.

Postdoctoral Researcher in Extragalactic Astronomy- #25369

The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to work with Dr. Marc Rafelski on observational studies of high redshift galaxies and their gas reservoirs. The research will involve scientific analysis and publication, data reduction, and proposals for new observations with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST), The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), and large ground-based facilities.
