Position Description

The Curriculum and Pedagogy Manager (CPM) plays an essential role supporting all courses offered by the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology (CCB), from large and logistically complex introductory courses to upper-level classes.

The Yang Lab in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at Stanford University School of Medicine is currently recruiting for an experienced cell and molecular biologist to join our lab as a Basic Life Science Research Scientist and work with a team of medicinal chemists, virologists, and structural biologists in developing novel small molecule antivirals.

The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), a major research component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), seeks to identify an outstanding Scientific Director to lead its Division of Preclinical Innovation (DPI) in Rockville, Maryland. DPI encompasses all aspects of translational science, from target validation through first-in-human clinical studies.

Position Description

The School of Pharmacy at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for full-time Assistant/Associate Professors in the Adjunct Professorial series (non-tenure track). A total of four adjunct faculty positions are available.

The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a full-time visiting (non tenure-track) position for the 2023/24 academic year. Teaching will include courses in introductory (general) chemistry with possible other courses depending on the candidate's specific expertise, prior teaching experience, and departmental need. The teaching load will be three lecture courses each semester, where two laboratory sections are equivalent to a lecture course.

The Department of Chemistry at Colgate University invites applications for one or more one-year Visiting Assistant Professor positions beginning in the fall semester of 2023. Applications are invited from any area of chemistry, with expertise in physical chemistry preferred for one position. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a closely related field is required at the time of hire or shortly after.

The Chemistry Department at Davidson College invites applications for a two-year position as a Visiting Assistant Professor with expertise in organic and biological chemistry, to begin on July 1 2023. Duties may include teaching lecture and laboratory classes in general, organic and biochemistry. The total teaching load is five courses per year, including labs. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or expect to have earned a Ph.D. by the start of employment.

Fred Hutch is seeking applications for the 5th Annual Dr. Eddie Méndez Scholar Award, which recognizes outstanding postdoctoral fellows from any discipline conducting research on cancer, infectious diseases, or basic science. The award was created to recognize Dr. Méndez’s commitment to cancer research and supporting early-career scientists from historically excluded backgrounds.
