The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh University invites applications for tenure-track faculty at the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025. Tenure on appointment is possible for senior candidates. We encourage applications from outstanding candidates in the areas of systems, machine learning / artificial intelligence, and human centered computing / human computer interaction. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field by the date of employment.
Successful candidates will lead strong research programs, contribute to our educational mission, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and contribute to reducing systemic bias in the field of computing. Applicants should have a strong record of research and scholarship, as well as a clear commitment to students and learning. Successful candidates must also be committed to the enhancement of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment in which world-class faculty, staff, and students can excel.
