The Environmental Studies (ES) Program at Colby College invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position in environmental policy to begin September 1, 2020. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies, Environmental Policy, or a related interdisciplinary environmental field as well as a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Candidates who are ABD with an expected completion date prior to August 1, 2020 will be considered.

The Boston University Wheelock College of Education and Human Development (BU Wheelock) invites applications for the AACTE Holmes Postdoctoral Program in Education and Human Development. The main goal of the program is to support the development of early career scholars whose research centers on issues of equity, justice, and diversity in education and human development.

Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for the Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship beginning in July 2020. The program is for scholars in the final stages of their doctoral work who need only to finish the dissertation to complete requirements for the Ph.D.

We seek a postdoctoral researcher for a 3-year position at Colgate University to work in the area of superconducting neuromorphic computing. The position is sponsored by Microsoft who is collaborating with Colgate on investigating the application of neuromorphic computing to quantum computing. See references below [1,2] for prior work in this area and the announcement [3] of the Colgate-Microsoft partnership. We are interested in an experienced experimental researcher to design, simulate and test superconducting circuits to understand their capabilities as neuromorphic components.

The College of Natural Resources at the University of California, Berkeley is inviting qualified applicants for the 2020-2021 S.V. Ciriacy-Wantrup Postdoctoral Fellowships award. The fellowship encourages, but is not limited to, policy-oriented research.

Brookings is seeking a Fellow or Senior Fellow to join the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy in Economic Studies, to conduct in-depth, high-quality policy-relevant economic research. The Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is recruiting postdoctoral trainees for its NICHD-funded Postdoctoral Training Program in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research. Appointments will be for 2 years beginning in the summer of 2020. The program provides multidisciplinary training with an emphasis on social affective processes, communication, family processes, epidemiology, genetics, and biobehavioral research on intellectual and developmental disabilities.
